The second year at school we got an assignment. We were going to create effects. The assignment was very
open. We could do whatever we wanted to do. I teamed up with Alf Martin Løvvold (now creative director at
VooDoo studios, Oslo), Maria Skau (Now animator at FunCom) and Fredrik Arntzen (Now head of 3d, pop-
media ) What I did in this little sequence was the smoke you can see above. from particle creation to
compositing. The final touches was made by Fredrik and Alf. Color correcting the clips etc.
